About Dr. Henora Chour

Dr. Henora Chour, a VMO Interventional Radiology Specialist, joined the St Vincent’s department in September 2023. He also holds a VMO Diagnostic and interventional position at St George Public Hospital. His foundational radiology training took place at St George Hospital, and he further pursued an Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

Dr. Chour primary focus lies in Interventional Oncology, specifically targeted therapies for liver and renal cancers, employing techniques such as TACE, SIRT, and thermal ablations. Additionally, he is actively involved in ongoing research, particularly in innovative treatments for musculoskeletal disorders such as arthritis, adhesive capsulitis, and tendinopathies.

Committed to addressing male and female infertility, Dr. Chour employs interventions like uterine artery embolization, Lipiodol hysterosalpingograms, fallopian tuberecanalisation, and varicocele embolization.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Chour is dedicated to education, finding fulfilment, and teaching and mentoring medical students, radiology registrars, and allied health staff.
